PC Best Hitter Award to Taitung HS's Gianfranco Pellegrino Tuesday, May 1st , 2040 When Gianfranco Pellegrino stepped up to the plate in April he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Pacific Conference Batter of the Month award. The young Taitung HS center fielder posted a .372 batting average with 13 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 19 runs. Pellegrino also worked pitchers for 5 walks to post a .430 on-base percentage. Presently Pellegrino is batting .299 with 20 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has played in 47 games and scored 34 times. |
