Scots Win Round 1 Wednesday, May 2nd , 2040 The Dunedin HS Scots and Andong HS Folk Warriors held nothing back in an entertaining Round 1 that went the distance. In the end, it will be Dunedin HS advancing to the Round 2, after a 2-1 triumph in the final game at Dunedin Ballpark, to wrap up the series 4-3. The Scots players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Folk Warriors. Timothy Abbey was named series MVP for Dunedin HS. For the series, Abbey hit .440 with a .481 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Dunedin HS Scots will play against the Port Lincoln HS Trawlers in the next round. Port Lincoln HS won their series against the Zhoushan HS Islanders 4 games to 1.
